Lousley Hill Trail Offers Outdoor Activities to Sereno Canyon Residents

The McDowell Mountain Regional Park is right around the corner from Sereno Canyon and promises tons of fun activities for families living in the North Scottsdale area. The park contains more than 40 miles of multi-use trails ranging in length from 0.5 miles to 15.3 miles and varying in level of difficulty as well. For individuals who are looking to ease their way into a nice day-hike, I recommend starting with one of the shorter trails, such as the Lousley Hill Trail. (more…)

North Scottsdale is home to some of the most breathtaking and well-maintained trails in Phoenix. Part of what makes Sereno Canyon such a unique Arizona gated community is the abundance of hiking trails in the area. The fall season provides perfect weather for hikers, horseback riders and rock climbers of the valley to get out of the house and hit the trails. Last weekend I hiked Pinnacle Peak Trail located in Pinnacle Peak Park, just a short distance away from Sereno Canyon. (more…)
